The menu consist of the following dishes:
- cured salmon with mustard dill sauce
- beetroot and haring salad
- Swedish Christmas ham (in slices) with homemade mustard
- ‘prins’ sausages (3 p.p.)
- Swedish meatballs (from minced beef) (4 p.p.)
- Swedish spareribs
- ‘Janssons frestelse’ (Swedish potato gratin with anchovies)
- braised red cabbage with Christmas spices
- ‘knäckebröd’ (Swedish crisp bread)
- ‘Västerbotten’ cheese
- ‘knäck’ (Swedish toffees) (2 p.p.)
- fudge with cranberry’s and nuts (2.p.p)
- ‘ris a la Malta’ (sweet and creamy rice pudding) with a cherry sauce
- ‘pepparkakor’ (Swedish gingerbread cookies) (3.p.p)
Adults: € 24,00 p.p.
Children (under 16 years): € 14,00 p.p.
The prices are including 9% VAT.
We take orders for a minimum of 4 persons!
Place your order no later than on Monday December 7th.
Pick up your order from our location in Houten on Tuesday 22nd or Wednesday 23rd. We will be closed from Thursday December 24th to celebrate Christmas!
I have a few bottles of “julmust”(Swedish festive drink) of 1,4 l for € 2,00 a bottle (including VAT). Please reserve your bottle(s) upon ordering your menu!
Practical:
– The dishes can be kept in the refrigerator for three days.
– You will plate the dishes on your own serving platters.
– You will reheat the warm dishes yourself in your own oven. The red cabbage is best to be reheated in a pan on the stove. NB: the potato gratin is delivered in an aluminium oven dish and therefore can not be reheated in a microwave oven.
